Canadian Erik Guay Wins Bronze in World Cup Downhill

Canadian ski racer Erik Guay from Mont-Tremblant, Que., raced down the Birds of Prey course in Beaver Creek Colorado to finish third. Guay's time for the downhill was one minute 44.20 seconds on December 5, 2008.

This is Guay's first World Cup medal this year, a bronze in downhill. The 27-year-old was shut out of the medals last season, and hasn't reached a podium since March 15, 2007.
